Mental illness
is not something
to compete over.
It is not a pageant
where only one of us
shall be crowned
incurable--
You don’t get a fucking trophy
for being “sicker”
than someone else
and
more importantly,
for using that excuse
to act superior
to someone else.
I am entitled to the
expression
of my own pain
without
you
trying to make sport
of my depression.
